British Made 1972 Timex Viscount Calendar Automatic Watch

A lovely British made automatic watch in super condition, and working well, keeping time, new leather strap, and crystal fitted- Lifted from the Vintage Timex Site -

This unassuming vintage Timex Viscount has a a subtle detail that you may have overlooked. Running along the edge of the dial is a textured surface. This makes you take a second look when appreciating this piece. The case is chrome plated base metal and makes use of a reflector to expand the dial area. This makes this Timex Viscount a large wearing watch. The case has straight sides and short lugs further adding to the wear-ability of this piece. The use of the aforementioned reflector requires this watch to have a large wide domed acrylic crystal. The dial is champagne colored, has the textured edge and gives off a great sunburst effect. Around the dial is a black printed minute track accompanied by simple gold baton dials containing black painted center details. This is carried over to the hands which are similarly chrome. The date window is bordered with a black printed frame. Inside this vintage Timex Viscount is the M32 automatic movement with date complication.
