Automatic Sicura Gentlemen's 38mm Watch.

Just serviced, A very collectable early 1970's Sicura Automatic watch , with a very near perfect dial, but lots of chrome loss to the 38mmx42mm case with hidden lugs - The 25 Jewel Movement keeps excellent time. Silver dial with black/red markers. The strap is a new replacement.
Sicura was a Swiss watch brand, founded by Théodore Sfaellos, known for affordable, trendy watches in the 1960s-70s, famous for its chunky designs, dive watches, and use of pin-lever movements; its history is inseparable from Breitling, as Sicura's owner, Ernest Schneider, purchased the failing Breitling brand in 1979 and eventually merged them, rebranding the entire company as Breitling in 1993, phasing out the Sicura name.
