Rare Model 3017 Poljot for Sekonda "Strela" Chronometer

£560.00Price

In superb condition, just serviced and overhauled, an ultra rare Poljot for Sekonda "Strela" (Arrow) Chronograph . - Made in the Moscow number 1 watch factory. And used in the Soviet Space programme.

We have had a complete service carried out on this watch and all functions work as they should.

The dial is very good, and has the telemetre scale around the centre of the dial. The unusual red tipped paddle hands have green lume in good condition. The 36mmx46mm case is chrome on brass. The chronograph is working well. The watch comes on a new high quality black leather strap. This overall is a fabulous example of a watch that is quickly appreciating in value – these watches have risen in value a lot over recent years as they have become more appreciated for their wearable size, and space connection.

The 3107 in the model reference is for the calibre 3107 movement, heavily based on the Venus 150/152.  This is a 19 jewel column wheel manually winding chronograph, which was eventually replaced with the cam switched 3133 still in production today.
