The watch is powered by a manual wind A Schild movement, 15 jewels The dial is original and just about perfect. Champagne white with black printed Arabic numerals and original blued hands.
New brown leather 17mm strap. This is a robust and high quality watch cased in a chrome on brass case 33mmx42mm.
The Audax trademark was originally registered by Eberhard & Cie. in 1902. However, the watches that appear on the collectors' market today typically date from the 1930s through the 1960s.
