The 46941 movement, made in-house by Orient since 1971, runs at 21,600 bph/6 'ticks' per second and evolved from the related Seiko 7006 movement. Orient 46941 movements are extremely robust and reliable due to many decades of refinements, although it is not possible to hand wind these movements with the winding stem if not worn for some time in common with other affordable watch ranges - they rely solely on kinetic energy.
