Smiths Astral 35mm Automatic Divers Watch

A very rare Astral Automatic watch in near perfect condition. Near the end of the line of Smiths watches, after the Cheltenham factory had closed, Smiths sourced Swiss and Japanese made watches to continue to supply their large dealer network. This most attractive Divers watch is an excellent example, using a Hamazawa 5005C Automatic Movement - Hamazawa were taken over by Orient, who are now part of Seiko - The Stainless-steel case has a brushed face, and polished sides, and is 35mmx44mm.
The Black dial has an inner seconds track, and white trim between the black/blue/silver batons. - The entire watch is excellent, keeps time, and is on a heavy leather strap.
