The Calibre 2428 with 26 Jewels is a famous vintage, manual-wind mechanical watch movement produced by Slava (The Second Moscow Watch Factory) in the USSR / Soviet Union. It is best known for its unique engineering layout, including parallel twin mainspring barrels and a distinct dual calendar system.

Sekonda originally served as an export brand for robust, high-value mechanical watches manufactured across the USSR by premier state factories like Poljot, Raketa, and Slava. By 1988, these affordable Soviet imports made Sekonda the best-selling watch brand in the UK. Ties were severed in 1993.
