Raketa for Sekonda 34mm Manual Winding Gentleman's Watch
In just superb condition, running well and keeping time, a Raketa USSR produced watch for the UK market, branded as Sekonda, the British importer.
The watch has an unmarked white dial, with bold black Arabic Numerals, making it one of the easiest watches of the period to read.
This is a 19 jewel version, with the less usual, and more expensive chromed case. A new black leather strap is fitted.
33mmx40mm
Sekonda watches made in the USSR during the 1960s-1980s were frequently produced by the Petrodvorets Watch Factory (Raketa), among other Soviet factories, for export to the UK. These reliable, mechanical watches featured durable Raketa movements (such as the 2609 or 2614) rebranded as "Sekonda" to suit international markets, representing a significant era of Soviet horology.
