MOVEMENT:

This is a one jewel R. Lapanouse movement and keeps accurate time.
Technically this watch is a chronograph, however often being referred to as a "lap timer" or "Chronostop". The chronograph's upper sub dial registers 45 minute increments while the lower totalizes 6 hours.
One must manually advance the time to 12 o'clock sharp and also allow the seconds hand to reach 12, both chrono registers will now also be at "0". Pressing the top chrono pusher will start the second hand and the bottom one stop it.
Once the pusher is deployed, the time advances until the other pusher is pressed. It can time 45 minutes increments on the top register and 6 hours on the bottom register. To regain the current time, one has to refer to another timepiece and re-adjust using the tradition push-pull crown.

Chrome on brass 38mmx44mm.
