Late 1960s Favorit Cal 2472 Automatic Winding Watch

A rare mid 1960's watch by Favorit, lovely silver dial, with applied black/silver baton markers. The watch is in a 33mmx40mm chromed case, which is in excellent condition, the Eta Cal 2472 movement works well, and keeps time and a new black leather strap is fitted.
The ETA 2472 is a highly regarded, historic Swiss automatic movement that served as a cornerstone of the horology industry during the 1950s and 1960s. Produced by ETA, it was considered state-of-the-art for its compact size, bidirectional automatic winding, and highly advanced instantaneous midnight date change with a semi-quickset feature.
