1993 Seiko 7009-4040 Automatic Blue Dial Watch

If you’re in the market for a vintage affordable watch with colourful appeal and proven timekeeping, this 7009-4040 from 1993 is ideal. The dial is a deep Royal blue with long, applied stick markers in bright silver finish. The minute track is printed in silver bars. The hour and minute hands are perfect silver batons, and a contrasting polished sweep counts the seconds. A framed day/date window is positioned at three o’clock, and an applied logo and “5” badge sit at top centre. The case is Stainless-steel. The crown sits recessed at four. The watch is it's original bracelet, just slightly too tight on my 7.5" wrist, or swap for a quality new leather strap. if preferred. The 7009 cal movement has been tested,  it’s keeping near perfect time. The watch has been dismantled and cleaned, the crystal is new, in all, presented in stunning condition, ready to use.
