In Lovely condition, and just back from a service, a very fine quality watch by Record dating to around the time Longines took over in 1961.

The watch is excellent, with just minor wear marks around the case the dial is near perfect in champagne cream, with gold pennant markers, and minimalist outer minute markers - Original gold hands with a very elegant oversize sweeping secondhand. Black Leather strap. 35mmx42mm.

The Record 022-18 watch movement is a manual wind mechanical movement introduced around 1955. It is available in both sweep seconds and non-sweep seconds variations. The movement features functions such as sweep second hand movement, manual winding capability, and a date function that can be set within a range of +/- 24 hours. All variants of this movement are signed with the designation 022-18.

Vintage watches by Record are popular for their classic designs and good quality movements. Founded in Tramelan, Switzerland, in 1903, The Record Watch Company moved its headquarters to Geneva in 1924. In 1961, a majority interest in the Record Watch Company was purchased by Longines.
