Superb Gruen Precision Cal 512 17 Jewel Day Date Manual Winding Watch

A superb and fine quality Gruen Precision watch which we have had services and is in excellent condition.
The watch houses a 512CD manual wind caliber movement, 17 jewels with sweep seconds, day at six, and date at three. This is a robust and hi quality movement without a quickset function. The movement is cased in a gold on brass case with an internal dust cover, 34mmx44mm.
The dial is a factory original very good silver sunburst with raised baton markers and an original set of hands.
Attached to this watch is standard length, brand new quality dark maroon "Condor" genuine leather 18mm strap.
A Gruen Precision 510 is the first watch worn on screen by James Bond (played by Sean Connery) in the 1962 film Dr No, and subsequently in From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever.
