Fine 25 Jewel Garrard Automatic Winding Day/Date Watch

Presented in superb condition, a fine quality watch by Garrard 1970.
The watch is excellent, with just minor wear marks around the case the dial is perfect in gold, with black/gold batons, and outer minute markers - Original gold/black lumed hands - Period Black Leather strap. 35mmx44mm. This is a 25 year service watch, presented by  Leyland Cars.
The ETA 2780 watch movement, produced between 1968 and 1970, had a production volume of over 25,000,000 units. It is equipped with an automatic winding mechanism, a sweep second hand, and features a quickset day and date function. The movement also offers an optional hack feature.
Garrard was founded in 1735 by master silversmith George Wickes and is one of the oldest and prestigious Jewellery companies in the world - Deep ties exist between British Royalty and Garrard, who hold various warrants - Garrard was a prominent watch supplier and creator.
