Dogs are extremely clever and in 1960 Belka and Strelka blasted off into space - They were the first Earth-born creatures to go into orbit and return alive. They didn't go up again, although they only went for a day, they were bored, there being no atmosphere
at all...This watch commemorates the feat An attractive Soviet era watch by Pobeda in excellent condition, keeping time and running strongly. A wonderful Dial with our heroes with their space ship in the background orbiting the planet. A well made, and reliable watch, 12 hour Dial, 33mmx43mm stainless-steel case , fitted with a new leather strap.
