1920s West End Watch Co Secundus Watch - Lawrence of Arabia

This West End Watch Company Secundus model watch was sold and issued to the Indian Army mainly serving in  Iran, Egypt, Mesopotamia and Palestine.
White Enamel dial with an old repair at three, steel hands - Dial stamped Arabic numerals, with the subsidiary seconds above the 6. The movement was overhauled about a year ago and is in good order.
31mm steel case fitted to an Apollo black leather strap .
West End Watch Co., a Swiss watch manufacturer established in 1886. 
The "Secundus" model was a popular choice, especially for military use, particularly in the Indian Army. 
They were known for their robust construction, often featuring military-style designs and dial layouts. 
These watches were sold throughout the British Empire, one example being worn by Laurence of Arabia - According to The Revolver Club.
