Antique Buren Trench Watch Circa 1915
In good working order , these watches are increasingly scarce in usable condition , this one has an excellent nickel 35mm case with a good hinge and a new acrylic crystal - The porcelain on copper dial has damage at five thirty. The movement s of Buren's own manufacture and not only works well but is keeping time. Buren is now part of The Hamilton Watch Company, but until 1929 Buren was a division of Williams and Company London.
The watch is in fact a product of the Oberon Watch Company; Interpol being one of the many brand names used by Oberon Watch SA.The Oberon Watch Company was founded by Erwin Rudolf, in Wolfvil, Switzerland.
