Le Cheminant "Invincible" Automatic 25 Jewel 35mm Gold Plated Watch
Classic mid 1960s Le Cheminant ‘Invincible’ watch in excellent condition.
It has a 35mm case diameter, with a depth of 11mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of 42.mm. The gold plate is a relatively even tone and is in good condition with little signs of wear.

The luminous facetted dauphine style hands are original and were very much on-trend in the mid 1960s.
The steel screw back which is signed with theserial number 527-1150, with brushed finishing. Inside is the reliable, robust and accurate Felsa calibre 4700N. It is a bi-directional automatic movement with incabloc shock protection and a jewel count of 25. It is functioning well, keeping time.

Originally a jeweller, it has since become principally a watch maker and, in the early 20th century, supplied chronometers and deck watches to the Royal Navy.
