Burgana 21 Jewel 33mm Manual Winding Gentleman's Watch
Working well, and keeping time, a 1960's Burgana watch with an attractive but slightly aged dial, the case is 33mmx42mm.
Burgana was a Swiss watch manufacturer based in Bettlach, Switzerland, that produced mechanical timepieces from the 1950s through the early 1970s. The company operated out of Bettlach, a historic Swiss watchmaking village in the canton of Solothurn. Active primarily during the mid-20th century boom of Swiss pin-lever and mechanical watch production, running from the 1950s into the 1960s and early 1970s. They were known for producing affordable, accessible mechanical watches alongside higher-jewel manual-wind wristwatches (such as 17, 21, and 25-jewel movements). Burgana manufactured traditional men's and women's wristwatches, as well as inventive, space-age novelty pendant watches made with lucite, domed display backs, and decorative pocket watch cases.
