Vintage Roamer Rotopower / Rotodate 44 Jewels (1960s)
The "44" Meaning: Refers to the 44-jewel in-house MST 436 (automatic) or MST 437 (date) mechanical movement, which used ruby ball bearings in the rotor and winding reverser wheels to drastically cut friction 34.5mm in diameter (classic vintage sizing), housed in signature waterproof/clam-shell case designs pioneered by Meyer and Studeli (MST). These vintage pieces are prized for their high jewel count and reliable in-house engineering.
