An extremely high quality watch by Strad, with an ETA automatic movement.
With a perfect blue dial and a solid 35mmx42mm Stainless-Steel case, the watch is an absolute delight, on a new 19mm bracelet which can be swapped for a leather strap if required.
The ETA 2782 is a vintage automatic mechanical watch movement widely produced by the Swiss manufacturer ETA during the 1970s. It belongs to the foundational ETA 2750 movement family, which served as a crucial stepping stone before the introduction of the modern, ubiquitous ETA 2824 series.
The Strad watch brand name was officially registered in 1937 by the Swiss watch company Eigeldinger & Co, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Eigeldinger & Co used the Strad trademark primarily for mechanical wristwatches produced through the mid-20th century. Vintage mid-century models (such as those from the 1960s) commonly featured dependable Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding mechanical movements, gold-plated cases, and subsidiary seconds dials.
