Dating to around 1939/40, a German made tank watch in the art deco style with a 7 Jewel FB 2075 movement.

The watch is in a 22mmx40mm case, chrome plated, and in excellent condition, the dial although aged is very attractive, and the watch runs well, and keeps good time given it's 85+ years! The watch is on a good period strap.

The FB 2075 (also known as the Förster Caliber 2075) is a vintage, hand-winding mechanical watch movement manufactured by Förster in Pforzheim, Germany, starting in the late 1930s.

  • Mechanical (manual-wind), tonneau-shaped (barrel-shaped) lever movement - 8¾ x 12 lignes (approx. 20.0 x 24.4 mm) 18,000 A/h (vph) 7 jewels Sub-seconds at 6 o'clock

  • Nickel screw balance without shock protection, long regulator arm, pillar construction, and a rocking bar winding system .Frequently found in vintage Art Deco, tank-style, and military-issued or civilian gents' watches from the WWII era and post-war period (such as Tewe, Anker, and anonymous/assembled brands).
