A "Wow" seventies high quality watch by Avia, dated by the case back engraving to 1974 - Just returned from service - A Gentleman's 'Automatic gold plated wristwatch, in great condition, and in a Zany seventies style. The oblong signed gunmetal grey dial with gold/black baton markers, and hands, sweep second hand and date window at 6 o'clock is perfect.
The top quality FHF 909 automatic Movement runs well, and keeps excellent time.
The oblong 37mmx39mm case with screw down back is gold on brass, and has some plating loss on the sides.
The watch is on a new tagged leather strap.
