Presented in excellent condition, an attractive and good quality watch by Summit dating to the middle 1970's.
The watch is excellent, with just minor wear marks around the case the dial is perfect in champagne with applied gold, and gold/black baton markers - Original black/gold hands with a new brown Leather strap. 34mmx42mm.
The Summit brand name was used for watch imports and wholesale distribution in the UK by Julius Isaacs & Co. (based in Sheffield) from at least the 1930s.
By the 1950s and 1960s, Swiss-made mechanical "Summit" and "Summit Incabloc" pocket and wristwatches (often featuring 17-jewel movements) were sold widely before the business changed hands in 1984.
