The Anglo-Celtic Watch Company (1946–1980) was a major British watchmaking consortium based in Ystradgynlais, Wales, founded by Smiths Industries, Ingersoll, and Vickers Armstrong. Known as the "Tick Tock" works, it was once one of Europe’s largest producers, manufacturing over 30 million affordable, durable, mainly chrome-plated pin-pallet watches, including Smiths Empire and Ingersoll Triumph.
