Unbranded watches were common in the 1930's and 1940's, either for sale via catalogues or department stores, the lack of branding got around the "Retail Price Maintenance" in force at the time, or also common - Free of charge when you had saved sufficient tokens from your favourite brand of cigarette (By which time you might not need a watch)
This example is quite imposing in it's fancy 33mmx42mm case,
The dial looks great, although lots of ageing under the new crystal that we fitted, and the 15 jewel Talis movement runs to time.
